Nonprofit of the Week #1

I thought it would be interesting to seek out a nonprofit organization every week to share with any readers I may have. This week I'm going to highlight an organization that my sister led me to...Carnivore Preservation Trust. They have a 55 acre facility that provides a haven for rescued kitties of the large variety. You know those poor tigers and lions that you hear about on the news that some dummy thought would be a good pet? Or the abused animals in poorly run zoos and circuses? This is where these big ole kitties go to be safe and well taken care of. Very cool. Educational tours are available (it looks to be by appointment only). I've already decided to take John and Grace to visit when the weather gets a bit warmer. I hope you check it out...there are some super pictures of the cats on the site, as well as tons of educational information.

Now let's see if I actually remember to do this every week. :)
