Politics

I've spent the better part of this evening educating myself on presidential candidates. After reading until my mind is almost numb, I think I've made my choice. Of course, the choice fell right in line with my first instinct anyway. Because I don't particularly enjoy political debate, I'll not announce my choice, but I do encourage everyone to read up and educate themselves on the possibilities. Frank has been at my side all evening trying to influence my opinion...something about a write in vote for the Taco Bell dog. Nutty creature.

I'm not sure why, but this presidential race is captivating my interest much more than previous elections. Perhaps because I've gotten a bit older and more aware of my surroundings? Or, maybe, because of my job...I have become much more concerned and aware about issues in education and poverty. It could just be that I've fallen prey to the media's masterminds of hype.

Here's a picture of Frank giving a little talk on what he considers to be the key issues....meatier dog food, squeaky toy safety and, of course, the underfunded Dogs in Space program.

Hi Emily, Welcome back to blogging! I"ve missed reading your entries and am glad you are back. That's too funny about the write in vote for the Taco Bell Dog! I enjoyed reading about your knitting and letterboxing. I also like to knit but haven't had time. I guess I just need to make time. Oh I also loved the picture with the simon in the dryer and Frank in front of it. Too funny! Have a great rest of the weekend!
